About Me

I am a leading researcher in spintronics and nanomagnetic devices, having recently completed my postdoctoral research at NIST's Spin Electronics Group. My groundbreaking doctoral work at the Technical University of Munich introduced novel focused-ion-beam (FIB) writing techniques for spin-wave optical devices, culminating in the first experimental demonstration of a machine-learning designed spin-wave lens. With over 23 peer-reviewed publications and 178+ citations, my research bridges fundamental physics and practical applications in neuromorphic computing, contributing to the development of next-generation computing architectures based on spin-wave propagation and manipulation.

My research journey began at the Technical University of Munich, where I completed my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Physics before pursuing my doctoral studies in nanoelectronics. During my PhD, I developed novel techniques for manipulating spin waves at the nanoscale, culminating in several breakthrough demonstrations including the first machine-learning designed spin-wave lens.

During my recent postdoctoral research at NIST's Spin Electronics Group, I explored the intersection of spintronics and neuromorphic computing, developing next-generation computing architectures that could revolutionize how we process information at the nanoscale.
